RER acquires Skinner Power Systems of Erie, PA.

We are excited to share the news that Rotating Equipment Repair has completed an agreement to acquire the name, operations, assets, intellectual property and equipment of Skinner Power Systems from Time Machine Inc. in Erie Pennsylvania. RER will now take on the title as the OEM for the manufacturing, sales and support for the Skinner-Dean Hill turbine line. We are going to make sure all of the manufacturing is completed in the USA to help keep jobs here and help our economy. We will move all of the shop operations from Erie Pa. to our current location in Pearland Texas. If you currently have the need for support you can contact our office at 281-485-2400 and ask for me , Eddie Choung or Tom Cooper. We are going to retain Cindy Swindlehurst as a key employee with Skinner and she will help us in the transition. Cindy will play a vital role in the parts side of the business and also customer relations since she was the GO To person at Skinner for parts. We are also going to start the upgrade process on these turbines with our engineering group to increase the reliability and functions on the Skinner – Dean Hill turbine line. We should be ready to fill some of the orders within 2 to 3 weeks so please bare with us. We will bring the same quality and service to Skinner Power Systems that you currently receive from our additional companies, RER, South Central Process Equipment and Guard-Safe Guarding. We ask that you help share this information to anyone with the Skinner- Dean Hill turbines in their facilities since there was a question if Skinner would stay in business since they shut operations in April. We will also work with any of our competitors that are currently repairing any of the Skinner Dean Hill turbines so please contact us and we will see how fast we can get you taken care of.
